Nevada City is about 15 minutes away by vehicle. We also encourage you, if you have the time, to check out the area’s many walking and biking trails.

I or my family member has a special condition and requires certain accommodations. Can you help?
Of course! Please inquire with a staff member. It’s our goal to help everyone be able to enjoy all of the joys of the area.
How many cars can I park on the property?
In order for all guests to have an opportunity to enjoy HeartSpace, we request that one vehicle per room/cabin be the limit. If you need special accommodations, please contact us.
What about inclement weather?
HeartSpace is at about 3000 feet elevation in the mountains. Mountain living means that in addition to the wonderful beauty surrounding us, one should respect the mountains and be prepared for inclement weather, snow, ice, rain, hail, temperature fluctuations, sudden storms, and variable and difficult terrain. The famous Northern California weather is usually so nice! But, when it’s not, HeartSpace is very well prepared for all eventualities and is a very cozy place to be snowed in, or enjoy a rainy, foggy day.
Can I have my wedding or event at HeartSpace?
Yes, HeartSpace is set up for events, weddings, ceremonies, gatherings and more. We have both indoor and outdoor space perfect for creating memories that last a lifetime. Please inquire with the hosts for more information and package deals.
Is there cellphone coverage in the area?
HeartSpace is in the mountains, so coverage can be spotty on the property, though our proximity to the city means that one can obtain signal on a lot of the trails. Also, we do have WiFi, and most mobile phones support Wifi Calling. Just search “How to turn on wifi calling for <my phone model>” for instructions for you device.
